Supporting movement, flexibility and autonomy in their teams individual workstyles starts by providing adaptive tools to allow them to move around the space and use each area in the way it was intended.

Spending time at Waste Studio in Nottingham, it quickly becomes apparent that this is a team that embraces the individuality of it’s members. This is what makes the space and the work they produce so exciting. Their space has been especially built to encourage and nurture the unique creative practises of the team, with break out ‘messy’ spaces dedicated to allowing experimentation and idea generation for the individual, as well as collaborative desk space for getting a crucial fresh set of eyes on a project when needed.

They talk about wanting to evoke a feeling of ‘playfulness’ in the space as their connection to their work is not about simply completing a job, the whole team shares a deep-rooted passion for art and design and the projects they work on, so creating a space that encourages play and thinking outside the box came as second nature to them.
Supporting movement, flexibility and autonomy in their teams individual workstyles starts by providing adaptive tools to allow them to move around the space and use each area in the way it was intended. The team have been working with Hotbox products for a few months now and recognise how our various products, from our work bags to our desk caddies, allow them to organise their essentials, transport them to various workstations and set up and work wherever feels most comfortable in the moment. Essentially, Hotbox thinks inside the box so they don’t have to!
