Client

Generali Group is an Italian insurance company based in Trieste. As of 2019, it is the largest of its kind in Italy and among the top ten largest insurance companies in the world.

Designer/Dealer

Founded in 1871, Sedus Stoll AG is now one of the leading European manufacturers of office furniture. The brand is synonymous with innovation and technology, quality and aesthetics and it constantly enriches the office world with contemporary concepts and high-quality office furniture.

Problem

Generali relocated its campus to St Denis, Paris in 2019, installing lockers and non-allocated desks. The move, however, from a traditional desk set up to an agile work environment caused an element of unease to many employees. They needed an easy way to bring all their team together into one place so that they could use it more effectively.

Solution

Hotbox is the solution they were looking for. It’s designed specifically for companies like Generali Group who need an easy way to store, organize, and share while keeping up with office working regulations. Hotbox 2 was specified to help staff take their personal and work things to and from the locker and set them up to work anywhere. Generali was keen for their staff to feel valued and to make the move as smooth as possible by adding the Hotbox 2 photo frame and pencil case so users could personalise their workspace with photos of their families.

Outcome

The success of Hotbox led to Sedus organising the rollout of further Hotbox 2s for Generali Group in Germany and Italy. The Hotbox 2 Sonus cover matched with elements of the interior and furniture specification and was embroidered with the Generali logo to add identity and a sense of belonging.
