The Bank of America Corporation is an American multinational investment bank and financial services holding company headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina. It is the second largest banking institution in the United States, after JPMorgan Chase, and the eighth largest bank in the world. Bank of America is one of the Big Four banking institutions of the United States with offices in the UK.

Maine Storage Innovations is a British manufacturer of lockers and storage solutions for the interior environment.

The London branch of The Bank of America relocated out of St Paul’s to Canary Wharf and embraced agile working with non-allocated desks. The Bank of America wanted to create the perfect agile working environment for their employees. They knew that they needed a space where people could work freely, but also be able to collaborate with colleagues and take breaks in comfort. This is why they decided to embrace hot desking as part of their new office design strategy.

Maine installed the lockers and specified Hotbox 2 with Blazer covers to complement the interior design and enable employees to carry their work things to their desk for the day.

Hotbox was the solution that allowed them to make agile working happen while keeping costs low and efficiency high. There are no allocated desks or offices in this workplace, meaning people can move around freely and choose any desk they like depending on how busy it is at the time.
